Is the pro8mm film notched? When did they start notching the film if it is at all? I am reluctant to test it out if it is not notched because i have a Canon 814xls with no manual asa settings.

    Thanks
    Brian

I was really worried about that before I shot my first Pro8 rolls, but much to my relief, they were notched properly. Though I only tested the 50D, 200T, and 800T stocks (all were notched accordingly) I see no reason why the others wouldnt be too.

The original Pro8 cartridges didn't extend the notches to cover all ASA's. I don't remember when they started notching the cartridges properly, it's been a few years at least (hasn't it?)
